Week 16 is in the books! What a total collapse from a nutrition and exercise perspective. With a work trip totaling over 2000 miles of driving in 5 days with events happening each night I was unable to get any workouts done. I did get a workout in on Friday after getting back home but it was a challenge.
Week 15 is in the books. Strength training Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri. and cardio sessions via grass cutting and yard work. Cam came over on Wednesday and had a great chest and triceps workout with him hitting 405 for an easy single rep. I think he's got more in him there, stay tuned with that.
Week 14 is in the books! Nutrition is still a challenge on the weekends but strength training on point. Only one cardio session for week 13 but added traditional deadlifts to the exercise mix. On to week 15 with better nutrition and at least 2 cardio sessions.
Week 13 is in the books! The month of June is in the books! Zero weight loss but also zero weight gain for the month of June. Put in lots of effort for June and saw better conditioning and increased strength. Had a hard time staying a calorie deficit but I will correct that for July and hope to get another 10 pounds off and look to asses my weight after that!
Week 12 is in the books! A crazy week with 7 consecutive days of pushing and pulling weight and 2 days of dedicated cardio. Nutrition is still a struggle on the weekends but much better on that front this week from last week. Introduced more variation of exercises and working hard on form before adding any additional weight. On to week 13!
Week 11 is in the books! It was a very active week of workouts starting with two 30 min cardio sessions and four strength session. I'm still struggling with my nutrition but very close to getting that dialed in. You can't out work a bad diet so I have to get that cleaned up for week 12. All in all feeling really good and determined to keep things rolling along.
Week 10 is in the books! All workouts were completed successfully with a few modifications. Moved my Friday strength to Thursday and changed my cardio workouts from 45 minutes to 30 minute sessions with a slight increase in intensity. My biggest issues continue to be food and sleep. I struggled with my eating and getting good solid sound sleep for week 10. Overall a decent week just need to make the corrections to improve my weaker areas.
Week 9 is in the books! Beginning weight for June is 226 pounds! That means zero weight loss in May. Time to bring discipline to the table with my nutrition and get dialed in for June! Week 9 brought two cardio sessions and three strength sessions with the diet dialed in and things back on track! More of the same coming for June and week 10!
Week 8 is in the books and was a total bust. I had to travel for work and that threw me off my game. Nutrition was only about 40% there and I only got one workout in while out of town. No worries though as we enter week 9 I will get it back on track!
Week 7 is in the books! This week has just been out of my normal routine. No cardio sessions this week but still got in a few decent strength training session. Nutrition was only about 60% there, struggled with food. Still working on my discipline! Some weeks are just tough but always progress and never perfection!
Week 6 is in the books. Workouts were on point and nutrition about 85% there. My mental health was better this week than previous weeks which certainly helped. Strength Training: Mon, Wed, Fri. and Cardio completed on Tue. and Thurs.
Week 5 is in the books and that puts an end to the month of April. My total weight loss for April was 9 pounds. It's time for a few days of rest as I've been fighting heavy fatigue and my body just needing that rest.
